spring

I'm near delirious with the fecundity of this day, this season, my life.

Spent hours on my, hopefully, last revision of my novel. At least till publication. Got to page 40 and have 405 pages in the book. I've just got to do it every single day or I'll never finish this book. IT'S TIME!

I've just got to walk now...

Absolute Uncertainty

The title of this blog is the name of my book I'm writing.
This is my first blog in 2 years but I read Bhakti Ziek's blog and so enjoyed all her forays into weaving, reading, recipes and friends, that I decided to plunge ahead.
Life on West Hill in Chelsea, Vermont is Paradise.
I'm rereading Anna Karenina by a new translation by a Russian couple and loving it. Just read Barbara Kingslover's Prodigal Summer which is luscious and powerful, about nature and all its interrelated majesty (including us humans).
Every morning at 8:30 am Tommy and I listen to NPR's daily poem read by Garrison Keillor, as well as a few other tidbits by him. A ritual and has me reading poetry again (in small doses but regularly). Check it out.

I've so much more to say but for my first post, I'll leave it at that.

Is anyone listening?

Here I Am...and if that isn't intrinsic randomness, well, then it ain't snowing in Vermont (we've had the driveway plowed 5x in the last 3 weeks).
